Broadway Sings Their Own Songs

  • Rockwood Music Hall - Stage 2

A spin-off of the acclaimed concert series Broadway Sings, BROADWAY SINGS THEIR OWN will feature 7 Broadway actors performing their own original songs. While performing in a show eight times a week, actors rarely get the chance to showcase their writing skills. But on this special night, audiences will hear fully orchestrated songs sung by the multi-talented performers who wrote them. The show is brought to Rockwood Music Hall by the team behind Broadway Sings, produced by Corey Mach with arrangements and music direction by Joshua Stephen Kartes.

  • 54 Below

Join us at Feinstein’s/54 Below for a concert presentation of Pride & Prejudice The Musical, a Richard Rodgers Award finalist. With book, music, and lyrics by award-winning composer Lawrence Rush, this musical adaptation of the beloved novel by Jane Austen was one of five shows chosen out of over 200 submissions for a workshop and public reading last year by Chicago’s FWD Theatre Project. With a lush and tuneful score, this show has captivated audiences, and stars such as Karen Mason, Laura Osnes, Abby Mueller, and Ron Bohmer have either recorded or performed many of its songs. Musical Director Matt Castle (Roundabout’s Into The Woods, Transport Group’s Once Upon a Mattress, and Company on Broadway) and Director Frank Galagno will lead a star-studded cast that will take your breath away. Join us as we follow the strong-willed Elizabeth and the arrogant, yet romantic Mr. Darcy in an evening that’s not to be missed.

Will plays Erik in this short film by MAGGIE LEHRMAN, directed by KYLE GILMAN.

A night out at a bar turns mysterious when a stranger in a fedora calls Meredith by the wrong name—and she admits she’s changed her name many times before, reinventing herself each time. Sunny, Violet, Jacosta, Pauline… What’s to keep her from changing again and leaving her friends and fiancé behind? Who’s the odd man in the hat and why did he bring a birdcage to a bar? Does the hot bartender really exist? The group fractures, seeking answers to these questions over the course of one surreal night.
