WILL REYNOLDS is a Brooklyn based actor/writer, most recently seen Off-Broadway as Jervis in DADDY LONG LEGS at the Davenport Theatre.
Will's work as a songwriter can be heard on 6 time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald's latest album GO BACK HOME, and his musicals include THE GREENWOOD TREE (NYMF/Kennedy Center "Page to Stage"), POEMS & MOON SONGS (Libra Theater Company), THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING (commission for Marymount Manhattan), and with co-Dramatist Guild Fellow Eric Price: AROUND THE WORLD, THE SIXTH BOROUGH, and RADIOACTIVE (developed at the Rhinebeck Writer's Retreat and the Goodspeed/Johnny Mercer Writer's Colony).
Will created the role of Cecil Vyse for both the Old Globe and Seattle's 5th Avenue productions of A ROOM WITH A VIEW, by Jeffrey Stock and Marc Acito. Starring opposite Alexandra Silber in the American Premiere of LOVE STORY, Will played Oliver Barrett in the new musical based on the classic film, produced by the historic Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia, directed by Annabel Bolton. Other favorite roles include Frank Churchill in Paul Gordon’s musical adaptation of EMMA (dir. Jeff Calhoun) at the Old Globe, George Bailey in the Engeman Theatre's production of A WONDERFUL LIFE (dir. John Simpkins), Jason in Adam Gwon's ORDINARY DAYS at the Adirondack Theatre Festival, and Huck Finn in BIG RIVER at Goodspeed (dir. Rob Ruggiero).
In New York City, Will played Count Ludovic in John Doyle's acclaimed New York revival of Sondheim’s PASSION at Classic Stage (original cast album by PS Classics). Additional Off B’way credits include Tony Kushner’s THE ILLUSION at Signature Theater, directed by Michael Mayer. Will starred in the 2012 New York Musical Theater Festival’s “Best of the Fest” winner BABY CASE (dir. Jeremy Dobrish), as both Charles Lindbergh and Bruno Hauptmann. Will also created the role of Chad in Seth Rudetsky’s hysterical musical DISASTER! at the Box. On tour: MAMMA MIA! Film: THE GOOD SHEPHERD (dir. Robert De Niro, singing and dancing with Matt Damon).
Will has been the part of the development readings of FINDING NEVERLAND, BEAUTY (Regina Spektor/Michael Korie/Tina Landau), and BLISS (by Jerome A. Parker) for the Public Theater. He also appeared in renowned LGBT activist David Mixner's one man show OH HELL NO! at New World Stages, and in the All-Star Broadway Men's Chorus for Andrew Lippa's I AM HARVEY MILK at Avery Fisher Hall, with Kristen Chenoweth.
Will is a Chicago native and a Carnegie Mellon graduate.
